Many of us are frustrated by rising rates, and I want you to know I share your concern. My commitment is to work with residents to keep rates fair and affordable, while still delivering the services and amenities that make Altone a better place to live.

It is also vital that Altone receives its fair share of the City of Swan’s budget. Too often, communities like ours feel overlooked. I will fight to ensure that Altone is properly recognised and resourced so that local families, businesses, and residents benefit from the investments that council makes.

I understand the challenge: we all want safer streets, more lighting, better parks and playgrounds, stronger youth and seniors’ services, and improved facilities. But every project has a cost. My role is to find the right balance between what our community needs and what ratepayers can reasonably afford.

I am committed to making decisions that reflect the priorities of local people, not outside agendas. I will continue to listen, act, and push for practical solutions that improve everyday life in Altone.

I believe the best outcomes happen when residents are involved. That is why I encourage you to share your views with me. Your feedback ensures that our community’s voice is heard and respected at council.

Together, we can build a safer, stronger, and more vibrant Altone — a community that looks after its families, supports its businesses, and takes pride in its future.
