I have lived in Altone for all of my adult life, firstly in Lockridge and now in Kiara. I have raised my family here, have been involved in community groups and have shared in the same hopes and challenges as you.

I have 45 years of experience as a public works supervisor and contracts manager, and qualifications in Public Sector Management. I have extensive project management, budget management and workforce supervisory experience. I have the experience to deliver responsible and equitable management of the $264.5 million council budget.

I see the need for investing in our community in a fair manner, to make the best use of the council rates we all pay. I am committed to delivering what matters most: better infrastructure for all ages, safer streets with more lighting, a safer community, fair rates, enhanced streetscapes, a new all-abilities playground, and long-overdue aged-care facilities. I will also back local business growth, road upgrades, parking solutions, and faster planning approvals.

I have no political agenda—only a dedication to transparency, accountability, and genuine community engagement. I listen, and I act.

I am David Fardig— your advocate, your community voice and your choice for council.
